We have rooms for our conference attendees being held at the Best Western South Coast Inn for the following nights:
November 19, 20, 21, and 22.
The rooms are being held through November 7, 2008; if you want a guaranteed room you need to contact them and make your reservation before November 7, 2008; there may still be rooms available after this date, but this is not guaranteed.
When making your reservation please do the following:
- Call: 1-800-350-3614 for reservations
- Identify yourself as part of “Black Studies”
- Indicate for which nights you need lodging
The rates are as follows:
- Thursday, Nov. 19: $125 plus 10% tax
- Friday & Saturday: $140 plus 10% tax

From: The south. Take Interstate 101 North, take the Patterson Avenue Exit. Turn right on Patterson Avenue. Make an immediate left at the first stoplight on Calle Real. The Best Western South Coast Inn is located 3/4 mile up the road on the right side.
From: The north. Take Interstate 101 South, take the Fairview Avenue Exit and turn left over the freeway. Turn right on Calle Real at the second stoplight. The Best Western South Coast Inn is located 1/2 mile down on the left side.
